Walking from Great Malvern

Walk straight out of town up to St Ann's Well and the Worcestershire Beacon, or north to North Hill. The southern hills around British Camp are further away, and most people drive or take a taxi to them.

Great Malvern is the natural base for a first visit. The town grew up as a Victorian spa on the eastern slopes of the hills, so the hillside starts where the streets end. You can leave your accommodation, walk up past St Ann’s Well and be on the Worcestershire Beacon, the highest point of the range, without getting in a car.

The station makes it the best choice for a car-free weekend. Malvern Link, the next station north, serves the northern end of the town and is closer to North Hill.
