Chase End Hill marks the southern end of the Malvern ridge. At 191 metres it is the lowest of the main summits, but it has a trig point and a real sense of arrival, particularly if you have walked here from the far end of the hills.
That makes it the natural start or finish for the end-to-end walk along the whole range. Many walkers start here and walk north, finishing in Great Malvern or at End Hill, where there are more transport options.
The hill sits on the boundary between Gloucestershire and Worcestershire, close to where three counties meet near Ragged Stone Hill.
