Where to stay
Places to stay near the Worcestershire Beacon
The Worcestershire Beacon (425 m) is the highest point of the Malverns. Stay within a couple of kilometres and you can walk to the summit and back before breakfast.
The Beacon rises straight above Great Malvern, so the town-centre hotels are the closest bases: the paths climb from Belle Vue Terrace past St Ann’s Well. On the western side, Upper Wyche and the Beacon Road car parks give the gentlest way up, along a tarmac path.
Distances below are straight-line from the summit. The walk is always longer, and every route involves a climb.
