Tank Quarry is a former quarry on North Hill, off West Malvern Road. Quarrying began here in the 1870s. Display boards explain the Precambrian rocks of the Malverns Complex and the East Malvern Fault.
Science-fiction fans may recognise it: the quarry was a filming location for the 1968–69 Doctor Who serial The Krotons.
The faces are unstable, and there was a major rock fall in 2018. There is a small free Malvern Hills Trust car park here, listed as open from 9am to 4pm.
